Affirming “Today is special” itself lifts my spirit and gives a minuscule shot of adrenaline. But TODAY IS TRULY SPECIAL because,
I can feel His (TUS) presence in my city,
I can feel His (TUS) prayers for me and my family,
I can feel His (TUS) undying love for fellow Mumineen,
I can feel His (TUS) message of itmenaan enveloping my city,
I can feel the masjids alluring with its gates wide open for His (TUS) special visit.
There is a different kind of enthusiasm and vibe in the city masjid – smiling faces and anticipating eyes. Just by mentioning the word “Qadambosi” in casual talks draws such attention from all nearby Mumineen which none of the marketing gurus can generate.
Today is truly special. The sunrise is special, the mornings are special, the evenings are special and the nights are special. Tonight’s sleep is all the more special and comforting knowing He (TUS) is in my city. Each matam on my chest is special today and every drop of tear is special today as He (TUS) is here with me. He (TUS) is listening to my heartbeat, my longing emotions, and all of my silent prayers. Our long distance relationship is not long anymore.
His (TUS) walk on the ramp showering his blessing over us is a moment worth dying for. Rather it is moment worth living an entire lifetime for. Hoping and praying for His (TUS) glimpse on me, cannot get my eyes off Him (TUS). My forehead is holding up thousand of sajadaahs waiting for a special moment when its only Him (TUS) and me and I perform all the sajadaahs I have been holding up to.
Today Shareqa is special having the opportunity to have His (TUS) feet on its land and so are all the Emirates. Shareqa is special as it is the land receiving the ta’eed and blessings from Imam uz Zaman AS. These blessings and duas are overflowing through Him (TUS), flowing, trickling and seeping into our homes and businesses which will flower and ripen the coming years and decades.
Today is special as we swarm to the Masjid hours before the time like praying is our second nature. Ignoring all the hustle and bustle of the city and focusing on getting His (TUS) glimpse like everybody has read and mastered Nir Eyal’s book Indistractable.
Today is special as this land is the chosen one for Today. Hope Today never ends and we keep living in Today.
